How bad will things have to get before you start believing?
Who causes this doubting mindset? Is there any doubt where the credit belongs? It’s none other than Satan himself! There’s never been more flashing red lights regarding the wiles of Satan than exists in this present day. In the words of Padre Pio: “…the number of devils active in the world is greater than all the people who had been alive since Adam.” The greatest trick Satan ever pulled was to convince the world he doesn’t exist. But remember this: The devil has only one door with which to enter into our soul: OUR WILL.
My friend Alain Perrault and I have had many conversations on subjects like this. One in particular is the End Time readiness. We tell of what’s quite obvious to the eye-- the apparent soon coming of the Lord. We often hear in opposition this true biblical statement: (Matt.24: 33) “But on that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but only the Father.” Although Matt. 24: 33 is true, a doubting and languid outlook causes a person to disbelieve that it could happen in their lifetime and will leave them oblivious and unprepared to the coming of Our Lord.
What sparks this doubting? It should be obvious—it’s Satan’s way to take over our soul. How does he do so? He whispers in our ear: “Oh, they’ve been saying that for years, you’ll not see it happen in your lifetime, don’t worry about it.” Why does Satan whisper that in our ears? Because he doesn’t want us to be prepared—he wants to take us UN-PREPARED
Satan loves to whisper in our ears. Look at how he whispered in Eve’s ear in the Garden of Eden: “Did God say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree of the garden’?” Eve answered: “Of the fruit of all the trees in the garden we may eat; but ‘Of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden,’ God said, ‘you shall not eat, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” But Satan said to Eve, “No, you shall not die…” Well, we all know the result of that lie--- WE ALL DIE.
When we suggest to Vatican II “Catholics” they attend the True Mass that goes back to Apostolic times, that’s codified, solidified, and set in stone by St. Pope Pius V in his Papal Bull Quo Primum Tempore instead of attending the counterfeit Novus Ordo “Mass”--- they resist with vigor. Why do they resist the True Mass? There’s a simple answer--- it’s the work of the devil. Here’s what anti pope Paul VI said in his “Homily”, June 29, 1972: “Satan’s smoke has made its way into the Temple of God through some crack…” How did Satan’s smoke enter into the Vatican? Through Paul VI and all the other Vatican II “Popes” when they replaced the True Mass with the Novus Ordo “Mass.”
Here’s what St. Alphonsus said: “The devil has always attempted, by means of heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the antichrist, who before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel, ‘And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice.’” (Daniel 8: 12)
Many other Catholic truths can be told in this Blog, but if people won’t believe… they simply won’t believe. Here’s the response Padre Pio rendered to a person in confession who questioned the existence of Hell: “You will believe it when you get there.”
