What was the sin of
Sodom and Gomorrah?
Why
did God judge the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah so severely? While Sodom and
Gomorrah were guilty of many other horrendous sins, homosexuality was the main
reason God poured fiery sulfur on those cities completely destroying them and ALL of their inhabitants. Sodom and
Gomorrah is an ultimate example of how God feels about sin and especially homosexual sin.
If
America continues with homosexuality in the footsteps of Sodom and Gomorrah,
and indications show a proclivity to do so, will we be destroyed as those
cities were? You may say that’s “far-fetched” thinking. But consider President
Obama’s speech at the annual dinner of Human Rights on October 11th,
2009. Here’s that excerpt:
“You will see a
time in which we as a nation finally recognize relationships between two men or
two women as just as real and admirable a
relationship between a man and a woman.
You will see a nation that’s valuing
and cheering these families as we build a more perfect union—a union in
which gay Americans are an important part. I
AM COMMITTED TO THESE GOALS. AND MY
ADMINISTRATION WILL CONTINUE FIGHTING TO ACHIEVE THEM.” (Emphasis added)

Now,
if the head of the American government and its administration not only condone
homosexuality, but promote it--what’s next? How prevalent will homosexuality and
same sex marriage become now that it has the “Blessings” of Obama and his Administration?
Will it equal Sodom and Gomorrah? The
Edison Research exit poll on same sex marriage posted these results of those in
favor of same sex marriage. These figures may be related to certain age groups.
Here are the results:
Hispanics:
Favor 59%, Blacks 51%, Whites 47%.
And
if homosexuality does reach those levels of Sodom and Gomorrah (if it hasn’t
already), will God perform the “Balls of Fire” extravaganza on America as He
did Sodom and Gomorrah?
Pray
the Rosary, wear the Brown Scapular, and pray for the conversion of these sick
homosexuals.
